THE RELIC THAT REMEMBERS.For centuries, the First Mask was little more than a legend.
Only a handful of Vodoun temples still speak of it — an ancient relic said to possess a will of its own.
Once worn by the kings of Danxomè, it granted its bearer extraordinary power. Then it vanished.
For centuries, only a weaker imitation remained — a symbol of royal authority, but little more than a shadow of the true relic.
Now the sacred relics are returning. The veil between the visible and invisible worlds is weakening.
And the First Mask has returned with a hunger of its own.
It is starving.
It must feed.

THE SACRED GATE OF DANXOMÈ
THE GATE THAT LIVES.For generations, the Sacred Gate has stood at the threshold of the royal palace of Agbomè.
Carved with ritual blood, sacred symbols, creatures and emblems of the kingdom, it has witnessed the passage of kings, warriors and priests.
But the Gate is more than a monument to the past.
An ancient omen warns that the Gate guards a boundary that was never meant to be crossed.
Those who pass beyond it never return.
Now, as the sacred relics return and the veil between the visible and invisible worlds begins to weaken, even the oldest protections may no longer be enough.

THE THRONE THAT REMEMBERS.For generations, the Royal Throne of Danxomè has stood at the heart of the kingdom, reserved for the rightful ruler.
But the throne is governed by an ancient law:
It is said that anyone who sits upon it without rightful claim will not survive the third day.
And when a king dies, his spirit is said to remain seated upon the throne until the true heir is invested.
In Danxomè, the throne does not simply belong to the king.
